After School Tutoring & Academic Enrichment
Providing Instruction in Reading, Language Arts, & Math for Grades K-6
Session Format: Students report to the benches in front of Jack D. Gordon Elementary. A staff member from Kids For Kids Academy will take attendance there and, at 3:15, walk students across the street to Kids For Kids Academy located in the Country Walk Shopping Center. Students who do not attend Jack Gordon are welcome to the program, but must provide their own transportation.

Grades K-1:

40 minutes subject specific tutoring
$25 per session
Grades 2-5:

Students who finish their homework early work on skills practice on the computer.
Registration & Pre/Post Assessment:……………………………………..$50.00
Aftercare available from 3:00-6:30 (2:00 on Wednesday) for tutoring students on days they do not attend tutoring.
Homework help and snack is provided. $ 10.00 per day.
*Subject specific tutoring is taught by teachers who hold a valid teaching certificate and at least a Bachelors Degree or by Graduate Students from the Barry University College of Education. There will be no more than 5 students being tutored at one time. All students at the table are tutored in the same subject area on the same grade level.
POLICIES :
Monthly tuition is due on the first tutoring session of the month. Our staff is hired based on the number of students enrolled. Therefore, it is necessary for us to charge for days your child is not in attendance even in case of illness. Credit cannot be given for sessions missed.
