Here are some things the community has done to support Madison and her family on her road to recovery

RayDesign.biz donated the design and support for this website as a way to spread the word and for others to contribute of themselves to the family.
The Bech Family offered a Rosary Prayer for Madison and started a prayer chain on line and have thousands of people joining in.
R & L Printing has donated their services to print "Dolly's For Madison" tags, flyers, and signs to help raise money for The Schafer Family
The Staff and Students at Felix Varela Senior High have made hundreds of "Dolly's For Madison" similar to the little jinx dolls used at football games. The Varela students have been selling them at community events.
Kids For Kids Academy held a Family Day At The Movies inviting guests to a private early screening of the Warner Brothers Movie THE GUARDIANS: THE OWLS OF GA'HOOLE which all money raised going to the family.
Families and Staff at Kids For Kids Academy as well as Staff Members at Varela provided meals for the family both at home and while in the hospital
Felix Varela Senior High held a volleyball and football and game goers learned how they could help. The drama department put on the play The Producers to raise awareness and funds.
The Continental Group launched a campaign to raise money for the family. They disemated the fundraiser to their employees and homeowners statewide.
Hagen Dazs Ice Cream in The Falls Shopping Center held a Scoop Night Fundraiser. The principal and assistant principals from Varela Senior scooped ice cream from 6 to 9 pm and high school volunteers sold Dolly's For Madison.
The FOREST GLEN MIDDLE SCHOOL BAND and the Band Parents Association honored Madison with a special concert as a tribute to Madison and her strength and courage.
SPOTLIGHT BANQUET HALL Hosted a Mary Kay, Tupperware, and Pampered Chef Party with the proceeds going to the Schafer Family.
Arts and Mind Center is had a cocktail partywith drinks and food. 'DJ Stryke" and a band entertained guests.
Mireya Mayor hosted an event at the Actors Playhouse at the Miracle Theatre. Guuests were treated to the showing of a play with proceeds going to the family.
The Hope for Madison* Benefit Showcase included live entertainment, food and more! The performers and organizers were graduates of Varela Sr. High and former students of Madison's mom.
The Miracles For Madison Committee and the entire community got together and held the Miracles For Madison Walk-a-Thon. In one day, $27,000 was raised for the Madison Schafer Cancer Fund!
The Families at Kids For Kids Academy got together and.....
Had a Spaghetti dinner and a garage sale to raise money for Madison's Treatments. Both events were a huge success! Thanks to everyone who cooked, came out and ate, donated garage sale items, and shopped.
