This curriculum guide is designed for grades 4-7 to teach students about food recovery. Its mission is two-fold; Teach children who are hungry ways to get free and nutritious food for their families and to teach children with food at home to be empathetic toward others. The three day guide uses real world applications to teach these concepts. The integrated unit has daily reading, writing, and math activities. Students living in Miami are invited for a FREE fieldtrip upon completion of the 3 day unit.
